What is Open Access?

Open Access (OA) means that research outputs are made freely available on the web to all, with no (or limited) license restrictions. Therefore, USIM Research Repository System as an open access platform, was developed to enable USIM researchers to share their academic writings and research discoveries with the public.

Why does Open Access matter?

Open Access publishing helps to increase citation counts, increase availability, maximize visibility, reduce publication costs, and thereby minimize the research publication process.
