Pillars
Open Science is built on pillars that make scientific research transparent, collaborative, and accessible, primarily comprising FAIR data (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Re-Use).

Open Access
Open Access ensures that scholarly publications, including journal articles and theses, are available online without subscription barriers, allowing wider dissemination of research findings.

Open Data
Open Data refers to research data that are made freely available for anyone to access, use, and reuse, enabling verification of results and encouraging new discoveries..

Open Educational Resources
Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching and learning materials—such as textbooks, lecture notes, and multimedia—that are openly licensed so educators and students can freely use, adapt, and share them.

Citizen Science
Citizen Science involves the public in the research process, where non-professional scientists contribute to data collection, observation, or analysis, helping to bridge the gap between academia and society.
